CSHS-Palmer Alumni Association, Inc.

"I Love to Read" is a program that the Association and Palmer Student Council collaborate on every spring. The Alumni Association selects an elementary school, usually a feeder school to Palmer, and purchases a book for every student at the school. Alumni and Student Council students join together to go to the school, reading to each class and giving a book to each student. In recent years the students do much of the reading and both the elementary students and the high school students thoroughly enjoy the occasion. Beginning in 2014 the students also receive a ribbon bookmark commemorating the day. Monetary donations go towards purchasing the books, ribbons and snacks for the school staff and readers.
